I LOVE this family so much! Anytime we get together, you can best believe there will be laughter, laughter and more laughter! Kathy, Pat and fam, thank you so much for your friendship. I hope you enjoy your pictures!
Before I get to the other pictures, I have to post these pictures. If this doesn’t put a smile on your face, then I don’t know what will. It actually made me giggle!

I have tried to write this post 3 times and each time I stop because of the tears that fill my eyes and eventually slowly fall down my face making it hard to see the screen! Those tears are not due to sadness but because of joy, happiness and love that I have for my mother. She is definitely a jewel! Her love is limitless and felt by everyone that knows her. Her wisdom and guidance is extended to all that is willing to listen. I am so proud to call her my mother!
Last week my mom came to visit and of course I had to get a few pictures of her. She resisted at first, but then I had to put the guilt trip on her! She finally caved in, especially when I told I wanted to take pictures of her and Tre together…grandson and grandmother bonding. I knew that would get her…anything involving the grandkids and she’s all in!
To see the two of them interacting and being silly was just as much a pleasure and the pictures themselves. Tre truly loves and confides in his grandmother. They are always laughing about something he said or a text she sent him!
These pictures melt my heart…
Just a few more pictures…

Repeat customers are the BEST! I absolutely love to have repeat sessions. We literally pick up from where we left off. This was the case with my session last weekend. I got a chance to spend some time with the “S” family, again! The last time I took pictures of this family, little Miss Nautica was very shy and her baby brother wasn’t born yet. Nautica didn’t want anything to do with my camera and held on to her mommy and daddy for dear life. This year…progress has been made. Nautica actually let me hold her, but not for long. She still isn’t sure about my camera!
I’m believing that next year, I will at least get a couple of smiles from her. As for the newest addition, Ray Ray, he isn’t so sure either, but I did manage to get a smile from him.
Here are 2 pictures for now… I’ll have the rest of your gallery soon!

Trying to find a session date can be challenging! With kids in school and sports activity, it takes a juggling act to nail down a scheduled. I had my session with my contest winner on the books since July. I knew that if we didn’t have the session on Saturday, it could be October or November before we could schedule another session.
The weatherman reported high in the upper 70s and rain! RAAAIIIIIN! No, not on the day I was going to finally meet the winner of my 1st blog contest! Usually when the weatherman predicts rain, it’s a beautiful sunny day and when he predicts sunshine, you can best believe it is going to rain. BUT.NOT.THIS.TIME. On Saturday, the day of my photo shoot, the day I was finally going to meet the winner of my 1st blog contest winner, it rained! As hectic as our schedules are, I knew I had to somehow find a date that worked for both of us- SOON! But, we didn’t have too. By the time of our session the rained stopped and the skies opened up to a beautiful sunny evening.
So I got my camera bag loaded in the car and off to our session location we went. Only to find out the largest arts festival was being held at the same location. But tents on every inch of grass at the location, golf carts speeding through, and a $25.00 parking fee was not going to stop me! After explaining to the parking attendant my reason for being there, I didn’t have to pay a fee and the area I was going to was not congested with tents and vendor and spectators! This session was meant to be!
The Schwab family is such a great family. The kids were so much fun and such troopers! At first like most kids, they were a little reserved but by the end of the session we were playing in the grass, jumping and even doing splits, not me!
Here are a few pictures from my session!
THANK YOU SCHWAB FAMILY!
