Indianapolis Senior Photographer | LN Senior Rep
Posted on August 24, 2010
When she said, “…I have a bubbly personality and I want fun pictures”, I knew then I was going to have a great session and she would be a great Senior Rep! What I didn’t expect is that her photo shoot would take place on the HOTTEST day of the year! Yes, you could fry eggs on the sidewalk, HOT! BUT, that didn’t matter!
As I was getting my gear out of the car, Laura and her mom pulled into the parking space next to mine and out came Laura with her beautiful red hair and BIG smile! Again, I knew this was going to be a great session and she is going to be a great Senior Rep!
One request Laura had was pictures in a fountain, so that’s the first place we headed. Did I mention that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when clients bring ideas about the type of pictures they want….LOVE IT! We were praying the fountain would be turned on and was EXCITED to see that it was! I hurried and got my gear ready and scoped out the area to make sure security wasn’t around (you may or may not have permission to get in the water) and shooting we did! Laura definitely knows how to have fun and let her personality come though in her pictures!
I had a blast hanging out with Laura and her mom! Laura was a natural in front of the camera and has the BEST personality! Laura…here are a few pictures from your session!
A little fun with some off camera flash!

Indianapolis Photographer | Photo Walk
Posted on August 2, 2010
Sometimes, I get in the mood to just shoot for me. Sometimes, I have nothing particular to shoot, and sometimes I set challenges for myself. I just go out and shoot – for me! A couple of days ago, I was in that mood. I just wanted to shoot for me! So, I packed my camera gear and off on a PHOTO WALK I went. I went to a park that I am very familiar with! I have shot there several times before. But this time I was shooting for me. Since I was so familiar with this location, I challenged myself to see things differently!
Here are a few pictures from my PHOTO WALK!

Indianapolis Photographer | Take Me Out to the Ballpark

Last weekend my co-workers and I had a team outing at the Indianapolis Indians baseball game! We sat in our company suite which was great for me to take a few snaps! We won..but I can’t remember the score! I did more talking than watching the game! I just knew to cheer when they made a TOUCHDOWN! I mean HOMERUN…I know the difference

I had the opportunity to meet some amazing photographers and Zach Arias! Check out his website to see what he can do with One Light! By the time I left the workshop (1:00 am), I was on information overload, but it was all good! I having been practicing on my family and I can’t wait to use my light during one of my sessions!
We had great models, wonderful hosts and talented photographers at the workshop! Here are some pics of the models brought in for the workshop! One light used for all pictures!

Indianapolis Photographer | Strawberry Patch
Posted on July 13, 2010
I need to play catch up with my blogging! I think things are finally getting back to normal, so I should be able to stay caught up…we’ll see!
Yesterday while at dinner I had the a delicious strawberry salad with poppyseed dressing and almonds! It was delish! It made think about when we took Nicholas to the strawberry patch and how he just loved eating the strawberries, and also that I never blogged those pictures!

Indianapolis Photographer | Happy Father’s Day!
Posted on June 20, 2010
I know several GREAT fathers…fathers that are loving, supportive, fun, hard workers, active in their children’s lives, respectful and caring! I can easily spot these characteristics because these are just a few of the great qualities I saw in my dad. AND, I see these same qualities in my husband, brother, uncles, and friends!
Today is great day to show the fathers you know that you appreciate and love them! Help him on the grill, take him to dinner, sit and talk to him about anything he chooses, go to the park and enjoy the beauties of nature or kids playing, watch a basketball with him, go to church with him, TAKE PICTURES together…whatever it is your father likes, just spend time doing it with him, TODAY. I’m sure he will enjoy it!
Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful fathers!
A couple of weeks ago, I took my family out to get family pictures! If you would have seen us, there is no way you would have thought I was a professional photographer, or that these 5 people were at a photo shoot!
Tre was kicking the soccer ball as far as he could only to be a mile away when I needed him in a picture! Nicholas was being his typical self and trying to do everything Tre did. Melvin was taking the assistant’s job because she was on the phone giving a play-by-play of the session to my mother and Lederic was distracted by all the others! FUN TIMES!!!
Thankfully, this was a session just for me. From past experience, I knew there was a possibility I would go home with maybe one or two good pictures! I actually got more than 2!! Here are a few of the pictures from the day!
And because I can’t get enough of this little one…here are a few pictures I got of Nicholas!
